| Welcome To Abigail's Joy Where it's the "little things" that make a home! |
| Silent Auction Rules By participating in the Abigail's Joy silent auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules. 1.Bidding will start and end at a designated time. 2.When you want to bid, do so by sending an email to oohoo@abigailsjoy.com with “Auction”, “Silent Auction” or something similar in the subject of the email and your bid amount in the body of the email. 3.To change a bid, simply send another email with the new bid amount. To cancel a bid, send an email with a $0.00 bid amount. Email must be received before auction has ended 4.In the event of a tie, the first email received in my inbox will be the winner. 5.All sales are final. I decided to try this type of sale because I have had many people say they wanted a set but it was sold before they even had a chance to see the item online. I am hoping this will allow all of you to have an equal opportunity to get one of my little creations at a fair price. I liked the idea of a silent auction because it basically says “bid an amount you feel comfortable with and hope for the best.” where an eBay type auction encourages people to “keep bidding to win” and they often end up overpaying for the item. I am planning on using this silent auction as a test and may, in the future, revert back to a straight sale so please feel free to give me your feedback on this process. Thank you! |
