Hello, welcome to Abigail's Joy. Here you will find unique, OOAK (one of a kind), handcrafted, 1/6 scale
furniture for Barbie and all her friends. It is the perfect size furniture for 11 ½ - 12 inch fashion and action dolls
such as Barbie, Fashion Royalty, Momoko, the older G.I. Joe’s and all other dolls in playscale size (1:6).
I use quality chosen materials for all my furniture. Each piece is built with wood using patterns I designed.
Then I add foam and batting. And finally I upholster my miniatures with selected fabrics to replicate full scale
furniture. And they do, but in Barbie size. I sometimes use or add other materials if needed to retain integrity
of a given piece. I will also repurpose a found piece as needed to emulate a particular style. All of the linens and
most of the accessories for the rooms are handcrafted by me as well.
All my miniatures are created in my in-home studio (also known as Oohoo’s craft room) in a smoke-free, pet-
free environment. And while my small furniture is certainly sturdy enough to be played with, I cater to serious
collectors of all ages.
My creations are OOAK ; no two sets are ever alike! These little pieces are designed to emulate realistic rooms
from a traditional look to today’s fads and most styles in between. They make wonderful dioramas or displays
for your home or shop. It's all up to you and your imagination to arrange your 'perfect room'.
